1969 CHEVY CAMARO BIG BLOCK 396 SS Dark red, black vinyl interior, This Camaro was originally an SS 396 (X 22)--- 375hp car (It now has a small block GM in it). It WAS ORIGINALLY Olympic Gold w/the blacked out tail panel and it had the Midnight Green bucket seat interior (original seats are still in the car they've just been recovered in black vinyl and the rest of the interior is now black as well----[dyed or changed ??). The interior is in excellent shape - the carpet was a cheaper carpet, but it is in good shape. The car has been garaged since 1985 and was used as a personal/classic car by the former owners from then until now. It does still retain the original VIN and firewall matching cowl/data plate. It does have a 12-bolt posi. and the 400 -turbo automatic in front of it. The 6000 RPM (redline) Tach is still in place as are the console gauges. It has the single 3/8" gas line from front to back (it's still in its factory brackets attached to the original frame/floor mounting points). The exterior paint looks great in the pics BUT it is in need of new paint. The floors and trunk pans are in great shape w/the floor pans having only minor /light surface rust on them and the trunk pan having only minor under-the-mat surface rust. It needs a gas tank as it was dripping gas when I got the car. This SS '396' Camaro is not cheap ---we're checking out its complete history and hope to have that info soon.
