1969 CHEVY CHEVELLE MALIBU 2-DOOR HARDTOP
RUNS & DRIVES & READY TO CRUISE NOW--- 350 stroked to 383 w/roller rockers, double hump heads, gear drive & a mild cam followed up by a 700-R4 transmission that is shifted via the period correct console mounted horseshoe shifter. According to the data plate this car came from the factory as a black car with a black interior and a 350 V8 with automatic transmission. This would make a very nice MUSCLE CAR that you can drive now and tinker w/it to make it yours as you enjoy it... just like we used to do in the 60s and 70s. We will have some Underside pictures in the next couple of days but the rocker, frame & floorpans are nearly perfect. It looks as though somebody has beat up the wheel well openings on both quarters and they do need reworked to be nice... and the rest of both quarters are great and appear to be original. The area behind the rear wheel well openings on the rear quarters are solid & don't appear to have had any work done to them. The body on this CHEVELLE is very solid & rustfree w/only spot putty used to smooth up the body and not to cover/hide rust/rustouts. Don't be fooled by the nice-looking paint...as paint quality pictures lie, the paint is what I would call a 30-footer & body work and paint need to be in this cars near future. The body on this Chevelle just needs cleaned up straightened up and smoothed up. The car is missing one half of the Chrome on the back window ( we have the driver's side... top, bottom and side pieces). The grill and headlight bezels (which are new) are missing their chrome accent pieces that attach to them. The Chevelle COMES WITH ROLLERS ONLY--- the wheel/tire combos in most of the pics are for staging purposes only.
*New tubular upper control arms
*Adjustable rear suspension
*4:10 posi 10 bolt rear end
*New brakes at all 4 corners (power disk up front)

*Factory Bucket seats (black vinyl)
*New front door panels
*New 3" exhaust system front to back
*Newer original style radiator
*New sail panels (not installed)

*New body bushings
*All glass is good & the front windows crank up and down easily & the quarter windows need nudged a little to get them up.
*Front & rear chrome bumpers are nice
*Solid: body, floor pans, rockers, trunk pan & frame. The trunk pan does have a solid/heavy patch in it roughly 20"x20" on the passenger side of the trunk...probably to cover where a fuel cell was located before someone install the newer gas tank.
